Last night marked the opening of the brand new Taco Bell restaurant in Southampton, and I was lucky enough to be invited to the VIP opening party! Come see what went on ....
Last night, the very first Taco Bell south of London was opened in my hometown of Southampton, and me and the other Soton Bloggers got invited down to see the new place and try some of the food. I'd never had Taco Bell before so I was excited to see what of all of the fuss was about! As we went in we got given a selfie stick to document our experience which was cute! We then sat down and had a frozen tequila cocktails and some starters, the nachos and loaded fries with all kinds of toppings. At this point i knew I was going to heavily overeat at this event....
Then we were told a little bit about the chain and greeted by the General Manager for UK and Europe Taco Bell, and I learnt some interesting facts including that the chain was the first to employ female managers as well as being the pioneer of the refillable drinks machine! We got to try the beef tacos, a chicken wrap and the pork quesadillas and all of them were so so good. I honestly don't think I've ever eaten that much!! The Photo Booth was also super fun and i discovered that I don't suit a Taco hat, but i do like the angle from the side so that was a not to self.
All in all it was such a fu experience and I loved the food! I think i'm going to be fat with all these nice places opening near me.....
