So for the last year and a half I have been working on my own cosmetics line, Luna Rose London! It launched online on the 14th of June and has been making waves online gradually since. The work involved in setting up a new brand has always baffled me but branding is my profession, my degree and my love. I have enjoyed so much the journey of creating this and then came the launch event....
I have been to so many events over the years and I always look at every aspect as an attendee, so making sure everything was right was so important to me! I spent weeks looking for the perfect venue, partners, outfits and decorations. Sleepless nights and thinking about glitter and balloons pretty much took over my life for a while but it was all super worth it.
I had the most beautiful dress from a local boutique that lend dresses for occasions just like this called GG's in Southampton. I have to say I really did feel like a princess in this dress and everyone commented on how lovely they thought it was!!!
The event was held at the beautiful Olive as it was the perfect vibe for the evening, as well as a new cocktail menu just for the event. Hair braiding from Braided South for anyone that fancied some plaits, cakes from the wonderful Koala Cakes and doughnuts from Stoneground Donuts in Westquay! Olive also has their own kitchen so pizza was served up along with with endless prosecco too. The vibe was casual and I wanted it to feel more like a party rather than a "BUY MY PRODUCT" type thing. The collaborating brands all loved being part of it and I wanted everyone to benefit from the evening.
Amazing makeup artist Khara Bhatti was there to create a glam look for me, and do the LRL demo throughout the evening with an amazing look to finish! (p.s she's based in Southampton and she's amazing!)
