I've never really had a girls group that I invested in, trusted, and messaged way too many times a day. Until now! These are my best girls and finding things to do together that don't just include cocktails can be pretty hard. The Southampton Harbour Hotel is as you know one of my favourite places in the whole city and I spend so much time there for the gym, eating, drinking and partying! I was lucky enough to be offered a chance to try the new Cine-Spa experience with my girls and I'm excited to tell you about it!
The Harbour Hotel boasts a beautiful spa and swimming pool, as well as cosy treatment rooms and also a mini cinema (which many people don't know about). It's not often you get to spend an entire day in a dressing gown out of your house and get pampered and fed! All of us girls were seriously looking forward to some me-time as well as a good old chin wag.
We all picked our 40 minute treatment from the below choices:
- Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage
- Hot Stone Massage
- HarSPA or ESPA Facial
- HarSPA Manicure
- HarSPA Body Exfoliation with Scalp Massage
I went for the Hot Stone massage as I've never actually had one of those before!! It was such a relaxing experience, the stones felt much more like they were getting into the muscles and working out the tension. This would be one if you get stiff muscles for sure!
We all went for our treatment at the same time and regrouped in the changing rooms, before heading down to the pool to relax. The jacuzzi, pool, steam room and sauna really gave us that girl time, gossiping about boys and work and clothes like we all do! We had an amount of time in here then headed off to the cinema to watch our chosen film.
We were excited to see the Prosecco and popcorn as soon as we walked in, and then 5 incredible pizzas from the HarBar on 6th arrived! We had taken our own DVD to watch but you have a choice of a HUGE list they have in stock as well. Sex and the City was OBVIOUSLY our choice even though we knew ALL the words, it's just the best girlie feel good film!!
All in all I have to say this was one of the best all day experiences I've had in a LONG time, and it would be perfect for a girlie spa day, a birthday or anything really!
