Dining in Style at The Oxford Brasserie

I love all of the nice restaurants in Oxford street and have been to most, but one I hadn't eaten in before was The Oxford Brasserie, so I took Alice Spake with me and went for a lovely dinner. 

I had previously been to The Oxford Brasserie for drinks on a Sunday afternoon but never for a meal. A sunny wednesday evening was the perfect time to change that. We decided to sit outside and try ourselves a bottle of the Discovery Beach Rosé, which was the perfect refreshing dinner wine. For our mains, Alice chose the Wild Mushroom & Broad Bean Risotto (which she said was amazing) and I opted for the Tagliatelle alla Carbonara, which was rich in flavour and the perfect size. It was a joy to eat in a restaurant with such friendly staff and in a relaxed atmosphere.
I also can't wait to sample their perfect comfort Roast Dinner, so maybe i'll see you there one Sunday lunchtime?
