What's In My Gym Bag

So it's probably very cliche to post about gymming in January, but there really is something to it. A new lease of life and a new motivation strategy to get that 'going to be a good year' feeling. I have some gym bits already and previously used my (bright) pink Longchamp bag but decided it was time for a new outfit and new bag to get me going at my new Virgin Active UK gym.

I managed to get myself some absolute bargains in the sale so thought id share them with you! I also have my Virgin Active water bottle that i got in a goodie bag when i worked with them about 6 months back. Now I'm taking part in their 21 Days campaign, doing something active whatever it may be for 21 Days as that's how long it technically takes to create a habit. I picked up a new backpack from Topshop as I thought this was a perfect and stylish alternative to the general gym backpack, and looks a bit more sleek. I also managed to grab some gym leggings from Primark that were only £3 in the sale! I love the camp print and they are super soft and have a great elasticated waistband so they don't fall down (as no body wants that!).

My mum gave me some Puma gym trainers a year or so ago and they are still extremely comfy and durable so i always stick these on although I'm really hoping to invest in some Nikes this year. The jacket is from River Island and is in the sale for just £15 so if you're quick then you might still be able to pick it up! I also like to shower there after I swim so I've got my Bulgari shower gel and body lotion that came in a perfume gift set I got for Christmas. I'm really looking forward to improving my fitness and I hope you'll join me on the journey!
